Wordly推出Silent Theater,观众用手机即可在展台获取翻译与字幕
Wordly’s Silent Theater offers clear new route to access translation on the show floor
Trade show floors routinely reach 80 dB or more, making open‑air presentations difficult for attendees to follow, not to mention poor caption quality generally.
Traditional silent theatres address this by distributing headsets and routing audio through proprietary hardware systems. Now Wordly has launched a product, Silent Theater, which allows presenters to speak normally while attendees listen through their own phones, with booth screens displaying large captions.
Silent theatre has traditionally been offered by event‑tech vendors using wireless headsets and dedicated equipment, Wordly’s new release brings the format into the AI‑driven accessibility workflow that organisers already use for captions and translations.
“Silent theatres have always been effective, but hardware has held them back,” said Lakshman Rathnam, founder & CEO of Wordly. “By streaming high‑quality audio directly to attendees’ phones, we’re making presentations easier to run, easier to scale, and far more accessible in the environments where organisers need it most. Done well, silent theatres become reliable engines for qualified conversations, not just another booth demo.”
The product sscales independently without headset inventory limits and, Wordly claims, removes the need for charging stations, device distribution, and on‑site equipment management.
“Silent Theater integration reflects our focus this year on practical, on‑site tools that improve how exhibitors deliver content,” Rathnam added. “More enhancements are planned throughout the quarter as Wordly develops features that support organisers and exhibitors across in‑person, hybrid, and multilingual events.”
Silent Theater follows Wordly’s recent launch of Sponsor Logos, which allows organisers to display partner branding on attendee caption screens.
