PANAMA CITY — The Panama Convention Center is hosting World of Coffee Panama 2026 Oct. 23-25, welcoming the global coffee industry and community to a coffee-producing country for the first time in the show’s history.

Trade Show Executive was on the ground in Panama City for the opening of the show, thanks to the Panama Convention Center, Legends Global, the Waldorf Astoria Panama and Copa Airlines.

Here are six key highlights from the first day of the show.

1. Panama: “Host of the World” Welcomes World of Coffee to Latin America for the First Time

2. Exhibit Space Maxed Out at the Panama Convention Center

The 326 exhibitors at the show are taking up the entirety of the convention center’s 15,400-square-meter (165,764-square-foot) exhibit hall. Onsite rebooking is available at a designated booth on the floor.

4. Activations and Events on the Show Floor

The World Barista Championship, a global competition that recognizes excellence in the industry, is taking place directly on the show floor. Some exhibitors are also featuring special presentations from famous baristas and past winners of the World Barista Championship throughout the show.

5. Providing Industry Updates and Learning

Buyer- and industry-specific sessions and meetings are taking place across the meeting rooms of the Panama Convention Center.
