厨卫设计新展KBX将于2027年9月在伦敦Business Design Centre首发

A new trade show for the kitchen and bathroom design sector, K B X, will launch at the Business Design Centre in London from 15-17 September 2027.

KBX has been set up by the teams behind kitchen and bathroom trade publication designerati and event organiser The Assembly. It’s aimed at architects, interior designers, developers, housebuilders, retailers and specifiers working on residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

Brands confirmed as founding partners include Blanco, Haier, Miele, Quooker and Roman Showers, alongside industry bodies such as the Bathroom Association, the KBSA and the British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists.

A 12-month programme

Rather than simply selling stand space, KBX will work with a limited number of invited brands on 12-month programmes. These will combine marketing campaigns, editorial content and introductions to specifiers, both before and after the show.

Michael Dynan, co-founder of The Assembly, said: “At The Assembly, we believe the live event should be the pinnacle of a much bigger relationship, not the beginning and end of it.”

Michael Dynan has previously worked on events including Clerkenwell Design Week, UK Construction Week, 100% Design and Grand Designs Live.

Clara Perry, publisher of designerati and founder of KBX, has worked in the industry’s media and events for more than 25 years. She said: “We want to create a relevant, industry-led event that reflects the ambition of the sector and helps move it forward.”

Kitchen of the future

Features at the show include The Kitchen of Tomorrow, an installation with Quooker showing new technology, robotics and materials for kitchens. Quooker is also partnering on the FutureKitchen Conference. There will be a bathroom wellness showcase, a stage programme of talks and interviews, and a networking bar. The designerati Awards 2027 will take place at the show on Thursday 16 September.
