槟城海滨会议中心部署Powersoft系统升级音频基础设施

Penang Waterfront Convention Centre (PWCC), northern Malaysia’s largest business events venue, has deployed 43 Powersoft amplifiers to power its 10,443m² waterfront facility.

Designed by AV consultant IHDesign Sdn Bhd, supplied by Concept Associates, and integrated by Integrated Audio Visual, the system delivers adaptable audio coverage across PWCC’s 10,000-capacity multipurpose hall, 10 meeting rooms, public concourses, and waterfront terrace.

The setup utilises native Dante connectivity integrated directly into a converged Cisco C1300 network backbone, eliminating the need for dedicated audio cabling.

Primary audio coverage across the main exhibition halls and public spaces is driven by 24 Quattrocanali DSP+D amplifiers, which support flexible line loads, feature energy-efficient Smart Rails Management, and offer UPS compatibility for emergency life-safety integration. Meanwhile, 19 compact Mezzo AD amplifiers serve the meeting rooms and VIP areas, mounted close to the loudspeakers to eliminate the need for dedicated equipment racks.

Signal routing and zone management are unified through Allen & Heath Dante I/O interfaces, QSC DSP processing, Crestron control systems, and Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus platform. The fully networked infrastructure allows venue staff to execute remote monitoring, diagnostic checks, and room reconfigurations without manual rack-room adjustments during event transitions.
