巴林展览世界与RX Global签署谅解备忘录探索新展会合作机会

Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), in collaboration with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RX Global, one of the world’s leading events and exhibition organisers, to explore opportunities for collaboration in the Kingdom of Bahrain through exhibitions that facilitate trade and create opportunities for investment and growth.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, by Aage Hansen, General Manager of Exhibition World Bahrain, and Hugh Jones, CEO of RX Global. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to exploring how exhibitions can bring businesses together, support economic activity and contribute to the development of Bahrain’s business events sector.

Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, said: “This MoUreflects Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its position as a leading destination for international exhibitions and business events. Partnerships with globally renowned organisers such as RX Global provide valuable opportunities to attract exhibitions that connect businesses, facilitate trade, and encourage investment. Through continued collaboration with our international partners, we aim to further develop Bahrain’s business events sector, enhance its contribution to the national economy, and create new opportunities for growth across tourism and other key industries.”

Ms Sara Ahmed Buhejji, CEO of BTEA and Chairperson of EWB, stated: “This MoUrepresents an important step in strengthening Bahrain’s engagement with leading international exhibition organisers. Under the MoU, the parties intend to maintain an active dialogue, share information on potential opportunities and explore areas where their respective experience, networks and resources can support the development of the exhibitions in the Kingdom. The agreement provides a framework for identifying potential collaborations, with any specific project or exhibition to be subject to a separate agreement.

The MoU underscores the role of exhibitions in creating platforms for business development, reflecting the shared intention of EWB, BTEA and RX Global to explore opportunities that can contribute to Bahrain’s economic and tourism objectives.
