Premiere San Antonio Leverages Partnership and Accelerated Sales Cycle to Generate Attendance Growth
Premiere San Antonio 2026(第四届)观众人次较上年增长30%,增长归因于与 SalonCentric 的新合作以及加快的规划和销售周期。
SAN ANTONIO — Premiere San Antonio 2026 saw a 30% increase in attendance this year. This dramatic surge, which far outpaces industry growth averages tracked by Trade Show Executive (TSE), is credited to a powerful new partnership between the Premiere brand and SalonCentric, and an acceleration in the show’s planning and sales cycle.
The regional beauty event is part of Informa’s South Florida Ventures’ Premiere portfolio, which includes Premiere Orlando, Premiere Anaheim and Premiere Columbus. The 2026 edition of Premiere San Antonio presented by SalonCentric marked the show’s fourth run, and had an unprecedented amount of energy behind it thanks to the partnership with leading U.S. distributor of salon professional beauty products, SalonCentric.
TSE connected with the show team to find out how the new partnership helped drive attendance and new exhibitor participation, what marketing tactics engaged audiences early, and how an accelerated sales cycle is helping to sustain momentum for this budding show.
Powerful Partnership Builds Excitement
The partnership between Premiere and SalonCentric was years in the making. Even without the prospect of an immediate partnership, the two organizations stayed connected and re-evaluated their strategies and potential alignment. In 2026, the strategies began to align.
Premiere was looking for a way to create an elevated showcase of brands and enhance their education further, while SalonCentric was focusing on its positioning in

the Southwest region of the country, particularly in Texas. The reputation each organization brought to the partnership was beneficial to the other.
“Powerful partnerships don’t happen overnight. They take time, trust and a shared understanding of each other’s goals,” said Randy Field, Senior Vice President, Informa South Florida Ventures. “We have spent years building that foundation together with SalonCentric, which meant that when the right opportunity came along, we could move quickly and confidently together.
“But a strong foundation is only the beginning. It takes the right people to turn a shared vision into results, and that’s exactly what Erin McDonald’s Premiere team and Tika Woolley’s SalonCentric team have done in San Antonio. Their talent, collaboration and commitment brought this partnership to life — and will be just as critical as we build on that success in year two.”
The partnership was reflected well by the joint marketing initiatives Premiere and SalonCentric executed. SalonCentric’s retail stores, digital channels, printed catalogs and business partners who engage directly with customers served as important touchpoints to spreading the word about the event and its offerings.
The Premiere team provided the marketing collateral, messaging and promotional materials that SalonCentric teams used to talk to customers about the event. The combination of direct customer relationships and strong messaging about the event’s value proposition turned awareness into attendance.
“SalonCentric and Premiere stand at the forefront of our industry, and our partnership is a powerful testament to our unified vision of empowering beauty professionals,” said LeAnn Bobitt, Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy for SalonCentric. “By merging our strengths, we are poised to deliver an exceptional experience that equips beauty professionals with the essential tools, cutting-edge education, and creative inspiration they need to thrive.”
Delivering Real Value to Audiences
The Premiere team knew its loyal audiences were looking for an expanded selection of exhibitors to meet with and experts to learn from at the San Antonio show. The partnership with SalonCentric opened up the opportunity to deliver exactly on those needs.
From day one, the messaging from Premiere emphasized that the partnership went beyond sponsorship, and would result in more brands, more education and more discovery opportunities at the show. The commitment to co-branded marketing helped to reinforce the scale of the partnership.

The Premiere team also leaned into targeted content promotion to spotlight the specific brands and educators SalonCentric was bringing to the show. SalonCentric also engaged in its own promotional efforts, and helped the show to reach new audiences who had not previously attended Premiere San Antonio.
Marketing Learnings
In the case of Premiere San Antonio, what’s old became new again for marketing efforts. Those in the beauty industry are not desk-bound professionals. They rely on mobile devices for information and communication.
Premiere leveraged years of audience insights to understand that the three best ways to market to this segment were face-to-face interactions, mobile-first communications like SMS and social media, and tangible, hands-on materials.
Tactics like printed materials and in-salon and in-store ticket sales aren’t viewed as outdated — instead they’re seen as authentic to how the community operates.
Another core aspect to Premiere’s marketing for the San Antonio event was to set expectations of what the regional show would deliver against its flagship event in Orlando.
While the core proposition of Learn, Shop, Connect remains the same across all Premiere events, the team conducts an analysis of each event’s show floor composition, educational programming and attendee demographics and behavior to be able to create tailored messaging and communications.
This analysis helps the team to understand which core pillar to emphasize in its promotion of a specific event so that attendees understand what to expect and help ensure they do feel a return on their time and investment.
Maintaining Momentum Through Earlier Planning
In order to capitalize on the momentum, the SalonCentric partnership generated, the Premiere team continued building on an accelerated sales cycle that was already underway, resulting in a significant shift in how it operates. The sales cycle has shifted to working 12 months ahead, while the team also executes and adapts current-year shows.
Aside from internal bandwidth challenges, shifting the sales cycle that dramatically also impacts exhibitor planning cycles, educators’ booking calendars and marketing asset creation.
To work through all these headwinds, the team had to commit to organizational discipline with rigorous project management systems. Every person on the team knew what needed to happen when, and why it needed to happen at that time.
Premiere also promoted Erin McDonald to an Event Director role to ensure someone was dedicated to long-term planning and strategic execution.

The change also required the team to understand that the work would be hard — they were running two timelines simultaneously while building the systems in real time — but the payoff would come.
“Working a year ahead changes how you think about every decision,” said Erin McDonald, Event Director for the Premiere shows. “When you secure a commitment early, that exhibitor becomes part of your story months before the show even opens — and that story is what pulls attendees in sooner. It’s not just about moving deadlines up; it’s about giving everyone in the ecosystem, from exhibitors to attendees, more time to get excited and prepared.”
The payoff from all that building has come to fruition. With earlier exhibitor commitments, the team can market more compelling content sooner, generating earlier attendee engagement and interest.
And while this hasn’t resulted in earlier registration trends, it represents the strength in playing the long game. Multiple touchpoints early on help to build familiarity and trust with professionals, nurturing their interest over time rather than relying on creating urgency.
It also lets attendees plan their show experience earlier, helping them to identify who and what they want to see, and walk away from the event with tangible value.
The attendee feedback is clear: This is a winning strategy. Post-event surveys show that attendees appreciate knowing what to expect before they arrive, and that many were able to discover new brands they didn’t know beforehand and connect with educators they follow on social media. An accelerated planning and sales cycle is helping to attract the right attendees and deliver on the marketing promises.
