More than a decade in the making, $915 million Powerhouse Parramatta is the largest cultural infrastructure project in NSW since Sydney Opera House.
With seven events spaces onsite, the venue is set to become one of Australia’s most distinctive event destinations, where culture, architecture and innovation come together.
Located on the banks of Parramatta River, the landmark cultural institution combines world-class architecture with purpose-built events facilities.
Featuring seven versatile events spaces, Powerhouse Parramatta offers “exceptional flexibility for events professionals seeking something beyond a traditional convention centre or hotel ballroom”.
It can accommodate executive meetings, product launches, conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions and large-scale celebrations, with capacity ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 guests to major events for 1000 attendees.
Among Powerhouse Parramatta’s signature spaces is ING Pavilion, a rooftop glass venue overlooking Parramatta River that is ideal for cocktail functions, networking events and celebrations.
The Residence provides an intimate environment for leadership forums, workshops and strategy sessions, while PS7, the museum’s largest indoor space, delivers “cathedral-like proportions and world-class production capabilities” suited to conferences, large-scale presentations and gala events.
The Vitocco Family Kitchen offers a unique setting where food, science and storytelling intersect, accommodating up to 200 guests for culinary activations, intimate dinners and brand experiences.
The Medich Foundation Cinema and The Green Bar are designed for screenings, keynote presentations and launches, while the Western Sydney University Forum features retractable tiered seating with capacity for 940 people that adapts to lectures, conferences, performances and community events.
UNSW House provides a flexible ground-floor venue for smaller meetings, presentations and networking functions.
Designed by architects Moreau Kusunoki and Genton, the 6-Star Green Star building provides a striking backdrop for brand experiences and business events.
