Gala night: Australia’s oldest PCO celebrates 60 years
澳大利亚历史最悠久的专业会议组织者（PCO）ICMS Australasia举办庆典，纪念其成立60周年，活动吸引120位嘉宾出席。该公司创立于1966年，在悉尼、墨尔本、布里斯班和基督城设有办公室。庆典上呈现灯光投影秀、大钢琴演奏及14人红磨坊演出。
ICMS Australasia honoured its diamond jubilee with a glittering event for 120 attendees, including past and current clients and staff, former owners, and major figures from the nation’s business events industry.
Established in 1966, ICMS Australasia is the longest established PCO in Australia, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Christchurch.
“Being able to continue the legacy of a company that was a trailblazer 60 years ago, and still is today, brings me enormous pride,” says Emma Bowyer, owner and CEO, ICMS Australasia.
“So much has changed since 1966 but our core reason for existence remains the same – to create an environment in which people can share valuable knowledge with their peers and communities to better our society.
“This is what continues to drive the team and I every day.”
At the celebration, guests were invited on “an emotional journey through architectural lighting, projection and a soundscape of nostalgic recordings before being encased in a refraction of light, symbolic of the diamond, through a string quartet and visual feast”.
Following formal proceedings, attendees were treated to a grand piano performance from 16-year-old Tasmanian CJ Jones, as well as a 14-piece Moulin Rouge show.
