RECORD-BREAKING NUMBERS FOR THE 21ST EDITION WITH 552 ENTRIES (+17%) FROM 154 AGENCIES (+41%). ATTENDEES EXPECTED FROM OVER 40 COUNTRIES.
The number of countries represented by the competing events has also grown, rising to 38 (+27% compared to 2025), featuring the debut of Canada, Japan, and Kazakhstan. The jury of international corporates, led by Christian Heubner (Volkswagen), will meet in person on November 26 at the Palazzo del Casinò on the Lido di Venezia to determine the winners of this edition. BEA World 2026 is revving its engines for its 21st edition with the publication of the shortlisted finalist events, following an initial phase of online voting by the jury of international corporates coordinated by jury president Christian Heubner, Director, Experience Communications at Volkswagen. The jury will gather in person on November 26 at the Palazzo del Casinò on the Lido di Venezia to decide the winners of the 21st edition of ADC Group’s global competition, after watching live presentations from the submitting agencies.
“Once again, BEA World is recording growth that seems unstoppable. In terms of events entered and participating agencies, the increase reached 41% this year. New countries have joined, bringing the total to 38, and competition is fiercer than ever. For this reason, making the shortlist is a significant mark of distinction—especially because the votes come directly from the companies that use events as a communication medium. BEA World, as the only global awards held entirely in person, serves as a unique benchmark for the international event industry. It captures a market growing despite media fragmentation and the difficulty of reaching increasingly elusive, distracted consumers. In a context where the information world is often tainted by a lack of transparency—partly due to artificial intelligence—brands realise that the physical event remains the most authentic way to connect with consumers,” commented Salvatore Sagone, President of ADC Group.

For ADC Group’s global awards, this is an all-time record-breaking year with 552 competing events (+17% compared to 470 in 2025), submitted by 154 agencies—a 41% increase compared to the 109 agencies in the previous edition.
At BEA World, the first and only in-person event globally dedicated to the event industry, attendees are expected from over 40 countries, 38 of which are competing (+27% compared to 30 in 2025).
Of particular note is the debut of Canada (featuring the legendary Cirque du Soleil), Japan, and Kazakhstan.
The winners of BEA World 2026 will be announced at the Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido di Venezia during the Awards Ceremony on November 27. The international festival will take place in Venice from November 26 to 27, 2026, as part of Live Communication Week, preceded by BEA Italia 2026.
Live is BEAutiful! is this year’s concept, created in collaboration with Next Group, the winner of BEA Italia 2025.

As a reminder, Live Communication Week will offer all attendees the opportunity to see the best events in the world, network with peers and industry leaders, and learn about business strategies and emerging trends through inspiring technical presentations and workshops—scheduled for the BEA Italia Festival on November 25 and the BEA World Festival on November 27.
Four days packed with creativity during which over 2,000 event, conference, and business tourism professionals will gather to champion events as strategic communication and business media, while celebrating the year’s best projects across two award ceremonies dedicated to the Italian and global event industries.
