珀斯新酒店供给支撑其争取亚洲企业会奖业务的布局
Hotel growth supports Perth’s push for Asian business events
珀斯正以新增酒店和更强的国际航空连接支撑其争取亚洲企业与奖励旅游市场的目标,Business Events Perth 首席执行官 Gareth Martin 称新房源将便于安排国际团组。
New hotel openings are set to support Perth’s ambitions for a greater share of Asia’s corporate and incentive market as Western Australia combines expanding accommodation choice with stronger international air links.
International brands Radisson and Dorsett are among the additions to Perth’s hotel landscape, with the 120-room Radisson Perth due to open in West Perth in early 2027 and the 263-room Dorsett under construction adjacent to RAC Arena.

In Fremantle, the Garde Hotel has added 83 new rooms and suites, bringing its total inventory with the existing Warders Cottages to 106 rooms.
Further ahead, a Pullman is planned at Perth Airport, while a 190-room hotel under development at Elizabeth Quay, near Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, is awaiting confirmation of its international brand and opening timeframe.
Business Events Perth CEO Gareth Martin said the new inventory would broaden an already diverse accommodation base and make it easier to place international groups.
“We have a good mix across the board, three to five-star accommodation and then apartment-style hotels,” Martin said.
The additional stock would particularly benefit corporate and incentive business from South-east and North Asia, where Martin said Business Events Perth was seeing strong activity. Corporate incentives currently represent around a quarter of the bureau’s business.
However, Martin sees improved air access as the bigger catalyst for future business events growth.
Perth Airport is undergoing more than A$5 billion (US$3.5 billion) in investment, including a second parallel runway scheduled for 2028 and new terminal facilities scheduled to open in 2031, with Perth set to become Qantas’ second-largest international hub after Sydney.
The expansion comes as Business Events Perth steps up activity across Asia. China remains its strongest international market, while Japan, India and Vietnam are showing increased interest and Malaysia is rebounding.
Martin said the combination of aviation investment, new hotels and Western Australia’s growing profile would strengthen Perth’s position against Australia’s more established business events destinations.
“Western Australia really comes to the forefront as a new but interesting Australian destination,” he said.
