Messe Berlin has launched Fresh Food Expo Asia Pacific (FFE APAC), a new international B2B tradeshow designed to unite the fresh food value chain across the Asia-Pacific region.

The inaugural event is scheduled for November 16 to 18, 2027, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. Joining the Singapore International Agri-Food Week lineup from 2027, the expo will focus on three core sectors: Fresh Food, Agri & Fresh Technology, and Logistics & Distribution.

The launch was formalised through a partnership between Messe Berlin and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), supported by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), Temasek, and Enterprise Singapore.

Anchored by Messe Berlin’s experience with flagship events like Fruit Logistica and Grüne Woche, the event aims to address critical regional challenges such as food security, supply chain resilience, and technological innovation.

“FFE APAC marks an important next step for Messe Berlin’s Global Food Portfolio,” said Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin. “It will bring different parts of the value chain together – from producers and buyers to technology and logistics providers – and create new opportunities for business across Asia Pacific.”

SFA’s deputy CEO Leong Der Yao added: “Resilient fresh food supply chains are increasingly important amid global challenges such as climate change and geopolitical developments. FFE APAC will provide a valuable platform for regulators and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore innovative solutions, and forge partnerships that can strengthen food supply resilience.”

Enterprise Singapore’s assistant managing director, Jeannie Lim, added that the event will help connect local businesses with global and regional partners to explore innovation, investment, and market expansion across the region.
