Ion has a new President. Marc Santos started on October 12, and Kevin Fett continues as Chairman, CEO, and owner of the company.

Marc brings more than 20 years of business development and sales leadership to Ion. He spent his career at Nielsen, starting in new business development in 2004 and earning five promotions on the way to Vice President of North America. Along the way he founded the company’s small and midsize business unit and grew it from a small team to $80 million in annual sales. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Data Solutions at ECRM.

“I’m excited to join this dynamic team and add my experiences to complement their extensive knowledge. In this role, I will focus on fostering closer collaboration within our talented team and expanding our market footprint while staying true to our core entrepreneurial values. I’m looking forward to ensuring that the next decade is one of the most prosperous and rewarding for our clients and team members alike.” – Marc Santos, President, Ion Exhibits

Marc’s job is to lead Ion’s growth strategy. Working with Kevin Fett and the management team, he will build on what Ion has built over 35 years, develop new vendor and strategic partnerships, and make sure the plan reaches every department.

If you work with Ion today, nothing changes in how your projects run. Your project team stays your project team. For the next few weeks, Marc will be meeting our people, our clients, and our partners, and asking plenty of questions about what makes Ion work and where we can do better.
