The 16th edition brings together more than 270 exhibitors, showcasing homeland security technologies alongside a new bilateral plan covering organised crime, counterterrorism and civil protection.

The 16th edition of Milipol Qatar 2026, the international exhibition for homeland security and safety, opened on 20 October at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), bringing together more than 270 local and international exhibitors. The three-day event, running until 22 October, showcases technologies and solutions for security, law enforcement and civil protection.

A major development alongside the exhibition was the signing of a Qatar–France security cooperation action plan for 2027–2030, extending collaboration between the two countries on a range of security challenges.

Security Cooperation and Technology in Focus

The action plan aims to strengthen cooperation in several areas, including:

  • Combating organised crime and drug trafficking.
  • Countering terrorism.
  • Enhancing security arrangements for international events.
  • Strengthening civil protection and related cooperation.

The exhibition is also providing a platform for companies, security agencies and government representatives to exchange expertise and explore emerging technologies. Exhibits cover areas including surveillance, cybersecurity, drones and robotics, emergency response, access control and security systems.

Held biennially in Doha since 1996, Milipol Qatar operates under the patronage of the Amir of Qatar and is organised by the country’s Ministry of Interior. The 2026 edition also coincides with the Doha International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Security, highlighting the growing role of advanced technologies in security operations.

By combining an international exhibition with government-level cooperation, Milipol Qatar 2026 reinforces Doha’s role as a meeting point for homeland security professionals, technology providers and public authorities working to address evolving security challenges.
