Vanguard澳大利亚合作日2026在墨尔本办公室举行,720余名员工参与
Event in the spotlight: Vanguard’s Partnership Day 2026
What was the event?
The local instalment of investment management company Vanguard’s Partnership Day, an enduring global engagement initiative for its team, which is designed to celebrate the company’s unique culture and collective purpose.
With 2026 marking Vanguard Australia’s 30th anniversary, this year’s event was particularly special.
How many guests attended?
More than 720 of Vanguard Australia’s employees – a figure that represents a 7.6 per cent year-on-year increase in attendee numbers – joined in on the day.
Where was the event held?
The event space was quite unique in that it was Vanguard Australia’s office in Melbourne.
Set across all six floors of the building, the spaces were completely transformed for the experience.
How was The Bite Project involved in the event?
The Bite Project was brought onboard to design, produce and manage Vanguard’s Partnership Day – a role we’ve played for four consecutive years.
This saw us first develop the strategy, where we took a deep dive into Vanguard’s story “from global giant to local mate” to develop a reflective and celebratory experience that would help our client mark this monumental milestone.
Next up was distilling this into our big creative idea, where we arrived at “Aussie icons”.
Designed to honour the organisation’s history and forward-looking vision, and that of Australia’s culture, food, sport and entertainers, Aussie icons acted as the event’s overarching theme and identity.
Passionate about thoughtful event design, we wove the theme throughout every touchpoint.
Dedicated areas of the office became vibrant Aussie institutions such as The Vanguard Local, Snag Station, Servo and Great Aussie Bakery, and 13 bespoke activities created opportunities for hands-on learning, fun and team-building at every turn.
A swag station ensured the day lived on in guests’ minds long after it ended.
Our team managed all aspects of the action-packed day as it unfolded; acted as the key point of contact for suppliers onsite; and handled bump-in and bump-out.
What were the highlights of the event?
Across the many activities, highlights included the Howzat! Cricket Corner, Bracelet Weaving Workshops with Wanala Weaving, Crikey! Petting Zoo, Become an Aussie Icon photo booth and Colour-In Graffiti Wall featuring iconic landmarks.
The Great Aussie Road Trip Tourist Guide tour of the country was another central feature.
It took team members on a journey across four different Aussie zones – beach, outback, city and backyard – and included a quiz and Mini Big Things Scavenger Hunt with 10 iconic “big things”.
The swag station featured 500 custom jars of Vegemite – which were snapped up within the first two hours of the event – 500 stubby holders, 1100 pins and 400 tea towels.
This was a thoughtful way to provide employees with a “fair-dinkum take-home memento” of the day.
