Event production firm Encore has installed Australia’s widest permanent hotel LED screen at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park as part of a venue-wide event technology overhaul.
Spanning 36m and covering a 126m2 footprint, the installation features six configurable screens set on a custom tracking system. The flexible setup allows event planners to reconfigure the ballroom layout for conferences, awards dinners, exhibitions, and brand launches, with room for future display expansions.
The technology upgrade extends across the dual-branded property’s ballroom, meeting spaces, and public areas. Located near Albert Park Lake, the venue houses over 2,600m2 of event space across 30-plus rooms, accommodating up to 1,600 delegates.
Jack Illeperuma, regional general manager at Encore VIC, SA & WA, stated the investment establishes a new event standard for Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Shreyas Matkari, hotel manager at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, added that the infrastructure responds to shifting client demands for higher visual impact and versatility in hotel venues.
