An exciting and much anticipated opening that elevated Bangkok’s hotel scene was the opening of Thailand’s first and newest Ritz-Carlton property.

Set within One Bangkok on Wireless Road, The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok brings contemporary luxury meetings to the capital. In recognition of its exceptional hospitality and service, it was swiftly awarded One MICHELIN Key in 2025 and 2026.   

Its 1,638m² of event space includes the 1,355m² Ritz-Carlton Grand Ballroom, which accommodates up to 2,000 guests and opens onto an outdoor terrace overlooking Lumpini Park. It also holds one of the largest LED wall installations in Bangkok at 15.6m tall equivalent to five LED screens. 

Outside of meetings, the hotel curates locally inspired cultural encounters, wellness rituals and creative city explorations to connect guests with Bangkok.

For a distinctive riverside setting in Bangkok, Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok offers groups a different perspective of the city from its location along the Chao Phraya River.

Its 22 meeting venues are conveniently located on one level, including a 985m² Grand Ballroom with a 5.3m-high ceiling and 22m 8K LED screen, ideal for large-scale conferences, product launches and gala events. Outside of meeting rooms, its outdoor spaces, the Embassy Garden, Garden Pool and riverside spaces, support activities such as yoga, mindfulness, teambuilding and outdoor networking sessions. 

Groups can also explore the nearby Talat Noi and the Charoen Krung Creative District by shuttle boat, or experience Thai dining with classical performances at Thara Thong, or riverside dining at Siam Yacht Club.

Southern escapes and beachfront experiences from Phuket to Pattaya

For groups seeking a different side of Phuket, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town combines city-based meetings with convenient access to the cultural and culinary attractions of Phuket Old Town.

Its seven versatile event venues span approximately 962m², including a pillarless 660m² Metropole Grand Phuket Ballroom, which accommodates up to 540 guests theatre-style. Within, a new large-format LED screen in the ballroom enhances presentations and immersive visual experiences.

Outside the hotel, delegates can explore Sino-Portuguese architecture, local markets, museums, street art, Phuket cuisine and Peranakan heritage.

At Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa, purpose-built MICE facilities are complemented by beachfront experiences. The 531m² Andaman Ballroom accommodates up to 560 guests theatre-style, 550 for cocktails or 350 for banquets, while five breakout rooms allow for concurrent sessions. Its beachfront venue can accommodate up to 500 guests, ideal for gala dinners, corporate celebrations, networking events, and incentive activities.

Recent MICE offerings incorporate wellness, sustainability and local engagement through activities such as recycled-plastic crafts, herbal compress making, garden harvesting and farm-to-table cooking. The resort has received Green Leaf 4-Leaf and Thailand MICE Venue Standard certifications.

Over on the eastern coast, Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa, which opened in 2025, caters to smaller corporate and incentive groups with 205m² of indoor space across four meeting rooms. 

Its 111m² Palm Hall accommodates up to 80 guests and features a large LED screen, while the 196m² sea-facing Podium Rooftop provides an outdoor alternative for sunset receptions. 

Situated by Jomtien Beach, it is an excellent spot for host teambuilding activities. Groups can also extend programmes with island excursions, coastal cruises, beach activities and cultural visits to Bang Saray, the Sanctuary of Truth temple, or the floating market. 

Under Marriott Bonvoy Events’ Connect Responsibly programme, organisers can also receive a Meeting Impact Report tracking event emissions, with the option to purchase carbon credits for certified environmental projects.

Northern immersion amid nature in Chiang Rai

Beside the Kok River, Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort offers more than 1,414m² of indoor and outdoor function space across 10 venues. Its largest indoor event space is the pillarless 877.5m² Utopia Ballroom, which accommodates up to 1,088 guests theatre-style, 660 for cocktails or 500 for banquets.

Its latest addition, Secret Garden, is a reimagined riverside lawn beneath the rain tree, providing an intimate setting for executive retreats and small weddings. 

Distinctive dining venues include Italian restaurant Favola and international cuisine at all-day dining venue, Latest Recipe, as well as the Latitude 19 lounge bar to unwind at. The riverside Parvati Spa offers traditional Thai Lanna massage for relaxation.
