Global Experience Specialists (GES) has acquired CSG Creative from National Trade Productions, Inc. (NTP), adding marketing and creative services for exhibition organizers and associations.

CSG will operate within GES while retaining its brand and existing clients. President and Founder Paige Cardwell and the entire agency team will remain in place. The announcement did not disclose financial terms.

The acquisition also gives GES clients access to CSG’s services, which include marketing strategy, creative campaigns, brand development, and audience growth. Meanwhile, CSG will gain access to GES’s international operations and event organizer relationships.

ADDING MARKETING TO THE MIX

CSG has served the association and exhibitions industries for nearly 25 years. Its work focuses on helping organizations build brands, increase event attendance, and grow revenue.

“This acquisition is an investment in capabilities that complement our existing services and strengthen the value we bring to clients,” said Derek Linde, GES CEO.

GES provides exhibition services, brand experiences, and live event venue services. With CSG joining the company, its offerings will also include the agency’s marketing and creative capabilities.

In addition to serving existing accounts, CSG will pursue new business opportunities across GES. Cardwell said the combination would expand the agency’s reach while preserving its culture and client relationships.

“Joining GES gives us a global platform to bring our expertise to a broader community of event organizers while creating new opportunities for our talented team,” Cardwell said. “I’m excited to build on everything we’ve accomplished while preserving the culture and client relationships that have always defined us.”

SAME TEAM, NEW OWNER

For NTP, the transaction transfers CSG to a company whose services also support exhibition organizers. NTP Chairman Robert Harar credited Cardwell and her team with building the agency during its time within NTP.

“CSG has grown into one of the industry’s leading marketing agencies, and we believe GES provides the right platform for its next stage of growth,” Harar said.
