LAUDERHILL, Fla. - MeetDrop has launched a lead capture and follow-up app for trade-show exhibitors and attendees. A user scans the badge or business card of the person they met and says one sentence about the conversation. The app scores the lead, writes the follow-up email before the user reaches the next conversation, and files the lead in the user's CRM. Nothing is sent until the user presses Send.
The app works with no signal on the show floor. Leads push one way into Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive with the note, the score and the follow-up thread attached. After a show, the organizer's badge-scan export can be imported so every row receives a drafted follow-up.
Capture is free and unlimited on every plan. The Free plan writes ten follow-ups a month. An Event Pass is $49 per show with 200 follow-ups. Pro is $99 a month, unlimited. Team is $199 a month with three seats and per-rep reporting for each show.
"Most follow-up starts when the exhibitor gets home with a spreadsheet, which is why most of it never happens," said Mendy Kurant, founder of MeetDrop. "We write it in the aisle, from what was actually said, while the visitor still remembers you."
MeetDrop also offers a partner program for show organizers, who can provide the app to their exhibitors as an official follow-up tool at no cost to the organizer, with the exhibitors' first two months free.
