India MedTech Expo 2027 to Bring Medical Device Industry Leaders to Greater Noida in January
第三届India MedTech Expo 2027定于1月14-16日在北方邦大诺伊达的印度展览中心(IEML)举行,由药品司、商业司和医疗器械出口促进委员会(EPCMD-India)主办,预计有超过500家医疗器械领域参展商。
India’s medical technology sector will take centre stage at the third edition of India MedTech Expo 2027, scheduled for January 14-16 at India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The event aims to connect manufacturers, innovators, policymakers, healthcare institutions and international buyers to strengthen India’s medical device ecosystem.
The expo is being organised by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Department of Commerce and the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices (EPCMD-India), with support from industry associations including AIMED, ADMI, FICCI, MTAI and NATHEALTH. Its focus is on showcasing Indian capabilities, encouraging innovation and creating business opportunities across the medical technology value chain.
According to the event’s official exhibition information, the showcase is expected to feature more than 500 exhibitors from the medical device sector. Planned participants include startups, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), research institutions, established manufacturers and government agencies.
The exhibition will feature dedicated pavilions for MSMEs, startups, research and development, emerging technologies, government bodies and participating states. Areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things-enabled devices, point-of-care technologies and precision healthcare are identified as key themes for the Future Pavilion.
Beyond product displays, the programme is designed to facilitate buyer–seller meetings, engagement with regulators, knowledge-sharing sessions and collaboration between industry and academia. These activities could help businesses explore partnerships, understand regulatory priorities and identify opportunities in domestic and overseas markets.
The event also plans to bring together public and private hospitals, procurement agencies, incubators, policymakers and international buyers, broadening its relevance beyond manufacturers alone.
As India seeks to expand its medical device manufacturing and innovation capabilities, the expo offers a platform to assess new technologies and strengthen industry connections. Its ultimate significance, however, will depend on the partnerships, investment opportunities and commercial outcomes that emerge from the three-day gathering.
