SIAL Paris 2026 commenced today, 17 October, at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, Europe, bringing together the global food industry for five days of business, innovation and networking.

Organised by Comexposium, the exhibition will run until 21 October, providing a platform for food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, suppliers and industry professionals to explore emerging products, market trends and business opportunities.

The exhibition is expected to welcome 8,000 exhibitors and 295,000 industry professionals, with 10 key exhibition sectors spread across 280,000 square metres. Ahead of the opening, 85% of the exhibition space had already been booked by December 2025, reflecting strong exhibitor interest in the event.

SIAL Paris brings together businesses from across the food value chain, offering opportunities to discover products, connect with suppliers, explore sourcing opportunities and develop international commercial partnerships. Its wide-ranging sector coverage enables industry participants to engage with developments across food production, processing, distribution and retail.

Innovation remains a key focus of the 2026 edition, with SIAL Innovation and SIAL Start-Up highlighting new products, emerging concepts and entrepreneurial ventures. The programme also features industry discussions, demonstrations, tastings and networking opportunities, encouraging participants to exchange insights on changing consumer preferences and developments shaping the food sector.

As the five-day exhibition gets underway, SIAL Paris 2026 is set to facilitate new connections and commercial opportunities across international markets. The event will continue through 21 October, bringing industry stakeholders together to explore innovations, strengthen business relationships and discuss the future of the global food industry.
