场馆协会（AEV）任命Showsec为官方人群管理合作伙伴

The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has signed event security and crowd management company Showsec as its official crowd management partner.

As part of the partnership, Showsec will run a series of webinars for AEV members and join the association’s security focus group.

Showsec has been operating for more than 45 years and has 15 offices around the UK. It handles crowd management and security at 10 major arenas and a range of music and entertainment venues, as well as concerts, international tours and sporting events. It has more than 550 supervisors and over 5,000 trained stewards and licensed security staff.

Rachel Parker, CEO of AEV, said: “Creating safe events where people can meet is a priority. Showsec pioneer crowd safety practices and we are looking forward to our members having access to their expertise.”

Simon Battersby, co-CEO of Showsec, said the company would be “sharing knowledge and best practice” with AEV members, drawing on its experience in crowd management, safety and event security.

One of several AEV partnerships this year

AEV has signed other partners this year too: Voyage Control as its logistics partner in May, and Ucopia by Weblib for Wi-Fi and connectivity earlier this month.
