Green ChemisTree Foundation 将于海得拉巴举办医药供应链绿色化学会议及展览

The Green ChemisTree Foundation (GCF) is scheduled to host its conference and exhibition on Advancing Implementation of Green & Sustainable Chemistry in the Pharma Supply Chain from 27-29 October 2026 at Hotel Trident, Hyderabad. The event, co-organised with the ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable, will focus on advancing sustainable chemistry practices across pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chains.

The upcoming three-day programme will bring together pharmaceutical industry professionals, researchers, scientists and sustainability specialists to discuss approaches to greener production, process safety and environmental management. The conference will feature technical sessions, leadership discussions, networking opportunities and an accompanying exhibition.

Key topics include green chemistry tools for process research and development, solvent and reagent selection, process mass intensity (PMI), life-cycle assessment and emerging technologies such as flow chemistry, biocatalysis, electrochemistry and photochemistry. Sessions will also address process safety management, wastewater treatment, zero-liquid-discharge technologies and the monitoring of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

According to the published event information, the exhibition will feature more than 30 solution providers showcasing technologies and services related to flow chemistry, catalysis, plant safety and sustainability.

With the event dates approaching, the conference is expected to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and industry engagement on practical ways to improve resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact and strengthen safety across pharmaceutical operations.
