Design exhibitions are evolving beyond showcasing creative work to creating meaningful business opportunities.

As creative industries become increasingly important to economic development, exhibitions can connect designers, entrepreneurs and international networks, generating value that extends beyond the show floor.

Thailand’s THE WORLD ENDS: Bangkok International Design Expo 2026 reflects this shift.

Organised by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the event takes place from 25–29 November 2026 at Bangkok Kunsthalle, under the concept “HERE, BETWEEN, ELSEWHERE” and the overarching theme “CREATE WHAT MATTERS.”

Through exhibitions, design dialogues, business matching and networking, the event aims to turn creative ideas into commercial opportunities. Strategic collaborations with FIND – Design Fair Asia, London Design Festival and Maison&Objet further connect Thailand’s design ecosystem with international expertise, industry networks and potential business partners.

With more than 6,000 visitors expected, 200 buyer–seller matches targeted and projected economic impact exceeding THB 280 million, the event highlights how exhibitions can contribute to wider creative economy growth.

Beyond immediate commercial outcomes, the event also aims to support emerging creative talent, encourage long-term business partnerships and strengthen Bangkok’s position as an international design destination.

For organisers and destinations, the opportunity extends beyond hosting events to building lasting partnerships, developing creative talent and strengthening international industry connections.
