Jaipur has added a large-format event venue to its MICE infrastructure with the launch of SkyDome in Kukas. The 60-metre-diameter immersive dome combines indoor event space, outdoor lawns, and 360-degree projection technology, targeting corporate gatherings, exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale experiential productions.

Located next to ITC Mementos in Kukas, SkyDome was officially opened on 6 November 2026. The venue offers approximately 30,000 sq ft of indoor space and 30,000 sq ft of outdoor lawns, providing event planners with options for different formats and scales of gatherings.

The 21-metre-high structure is equipped with 360-degree projection technology and a library of immersive environments that can be adapted to create different event settings. Its facilities are designed to accommodate corporate events, brand launches, exhibitions, concerts, cultural performances, destination weddings, and large-scale celebrations.

Immersive technology adds to event capabilities

The launch showcased the venue’s production potential through an outdoor drone display involving 500 drones. The event also featured an industry conference hosted by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) to launch EEMA Weddings, bringing attention to Jaipur’s potential as a wedding and events destination. Indian pop-rock band Euphoria performed at the closing event.

Sachin Mutreja, Director, SkyDome, said, “India’s tourism and live-events sectors present a significant business opportunity for destinations looking to attract more visitors and diversify their offerings. With India’s organised live-events industry projected to grow, SkyDome brings large-format immersive event infrastructure to Jaipur at an opportune time. Here is a space where imagination takes centre stage, where technology opens new possibilities, and where the next generation of extraordinary celebrations can come to life. We aim to build partnerships across hospitality and event production, generate business opportunities for local stakeholders, and strengthen Jaipur’s appeal as a destination for weddings, entertainment, and large-scale events.”

The venue aims to work with hospitality and event production partners to attract business across corporate events, entertainment, and celebrations. Its indoor and outdoor format also provides organisers with flexibility to plan different elements of an event within one property.

Jaipur’s expanding events opportunity

SkyDome enters the market as India’s organised live-events segment records growth. According to the FICCI-EY report Unlocking India’s Media and Entertainment Economy, released in March 2026, the segment grew 44% in 2025 to approximately INR14,500 crore and is projected to reach INR19,600 crore by 2028.

Jaipur’s established destination wedding market, heritage appeal, and hospitality infrastructure provide a foundation for expanding its events offering. SkyDome aims to complement the city’s existing venues and create opportunities for event organisers, wedding professionals, hospitality businesses, and brands.

The permanent immersive event dome was conceptualised and founded by Sameer Mutreja, Sachin Mutreja, Sumit Chandhoke, Sonalika Sengupta, and Ali Safdar Zaidi, bringing together experience across marketing communications, brand management, business strategy, hospitality, and live events.
