MAHE将于2027年4月在班加罗尔首次承办THE亚洲大学峰会

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will host the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Universities Summit 2027 at its Bengaluru campus from April 20 to 22, 2027, marking the first time the summit will be held in India. Organised by Times Higher Education in partnership with MAHE, the event will bring together university leaders, policymakers, researchers and industry representatives from across Asia and beyond.

The summit will be held under the theme “Talent, transition and scale: Leading in an era of expansion.” Discussions will focus on how universities can respond to changing educational needs while advancing academic excellence, research and innovation. Key areas will include artificial intelligence, talent development, internationalisation, demographic change and climate resilience.

A major feature of the three-day gathering will be the live announcement of the THE Asia University Rankings 2027, offering an updated assessment of universities across the region. The programme will also include the winners’ ceremony for the THE Awards Asia 2027, recognising achievements across the higher education sector.

The summit will provide a platform for academic institutions to exchange knowledge, explore strategic partnerships and discuss the role of universities in addressing regional and global challenges. It will also showcase MAHE Bengaluru’s academic and research ecosystem to international delegates.

Hosting the summit in Bengaluru places the event in India’s technology and innovation hub, providing an opportunity to connect higher education with industry and research communities. The gathering is expected to contribute to discussions on the future direction of universities as institutions navigate technological transformation, international collaboration and expanding demand for higher education.
