ETM 2026 Underway in Goa, Spotlighting Energy Innovation at Urja Bharat Convention Centre
The 29th Energy Technology & Innovation Meet (ETM 2026) is underway at the Urja Bharat Convention Centre, ONGC Advanced Training Institute, Goa. Commenced on October 27, the three-day event is organised by the Centre for High Technology (CHT), under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, and co-hosted by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). It brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, startups and technology providers to explore innovations shaping India’s energy sector.
Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri and Ministry Secretary Dr. Neeraj Mittal visited the exhibition and inaugurated pavilions showcasing participating organisations’ work.
Held under the theme “Accelerating Energy Innovation: From Research to Commercialisation,” ETM 2026 provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and the development of indigenous energy technologies.
According to the event information published by the organisers, the exhibition brings together oil marketing companies (OMCs), public sector undertakings (PSUs), startups and other industry participants to present emerging technologies, innovative solutions and research-led developments.
The programme focuses on advancing technologies that can strengthen energy security and support India’s energy transition. It encourages interaction between established energy companies, innovators and researchers, helping bridge the gap between technological development and commercial application.
The exhibition also provides participating organisations with opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities, exchange industry insights and explore potential collaborations. By bringing together stakeholders from across the energy ecosystem, the event supports discussions on technological advancement and solutions for evolving industry requirements.
ETM has served as a platform for energy technology and innovation for nearly three decades. Its 2026 edition continues this focus by encouraging research, industry collaboration and the adoption of forward-looking technologies across the sector.
The event is scheduled to conclude on October 29, 2026, in Goa, with discussions and exhibition activities continuing to highlight opportunities for innovation and collaboration in India’s energy industry.
