GLOBAL: Sherrif Karamat, president and CEO of PCMA and CEMA, announced event production partnerships with SourceOne Events and Advanced Staging Productions. SourceOne Events has committed to a three-year agreement to support PCMA’s signature events in North America from 2027 through 2029. Advanced Staging Productions returns for a second consecutive year to produce Convening Leaders 2027 in Miami.

LAS VEGAS: Rio Las Vegas has overhauled its group banquet and catering program. It is priced at 25% below comparable Strip properties, with menus built custom for every group rather than pulled from a standard package. Leading the effort is chef Andi Van Willigan, who spent nearly a decade on Hell’s Kitchen as the show’s longest-running female sous chef, plus behind-the-scenes work on Kitchen Nightmares, Hotel Hell, and MasterChef.

BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, has unveiled a one-of-a-kind cabana sportsbook at Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The BetMGM Sportsbook at Tailgate Beach Club gives guests poolside access to an in-person outdoor wagering window at Las Vegas’ newest sports and pop culture dayclub.

SANTA CLARA, CALIF.: Hilton Santa Clara has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation spanning its 280 guest rooms and suites, meeting and event spaces, dining venues, and public areas. Located directly across from the Santa Clara Convention Center and just steps from Levi’s Stadium and California’s Great America, the newly transformed hotel brings a contemporary Silicon Valley-inspired design to the destination. The hotel also introduces new spaces for meetings, gatherings, and socializing, catering to business travelers, meeting groups, sports fans, and leisure guests.
