India’s growing waste-management challenge is increasing the need for efficient recycling, resource recovery and sustainable waste-processing technologies. Against this backdrop, the Waste 2 Wealth India Expo 2026 is scheduled for December 17-19 at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Organised by Blueprints Ventures, the exhibition aims to connect technology providers, policymakers, municipal authorities, investors and environmental professionals. According to the official event website, key themes include solid-waste management, recycling, bioenergy, wastewater treatment, pollution control and circular-economy solutions.

The scale of India’s waste challenge highlights the urgency of these efforts. According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s 2021-22 annual report, India generated approximately 170,338 tonnes of solid waste per day, of which 91,512 tonnes per day were reported as treated. These figures underline the importance of strengthening waste collection, segregation, processing and disposal infrastructure.

The expo is expected to provide a business-to-business platform for showcasing technologies, exchanging technical knowledge and developing partnerships between industry participants and public-sector organisations. Discussions are also expected to focus on emerging solutions for converting waste into reusable materials, energy and other valuable resources.
