Rooms
I stayed in the 63m² 1 King Bed, Park View, Deluxe room. As a corner unit, its remarkably generous proportions elicited an instant “wow” upon entry. The curved, wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views of both Lumphini Park and the city skyline. Returning to this peaceful space every night was a welcome change of pace from the frenetic, non-stop energy of Bangkok outside.

The room layout balanced work and downtime perfectly. Beyond the plush king bed and comfy white chaise lounge angled toward the park views, I loved the banquette area, which ended up being my go-to workspace. Another highlight was the walk-in closet; I thought it felt like the size of a small bathroom! The main double-vanity bathroom was equally impressive, complete with a bathtub and separate shower with Byredo Eleventh Hour amenities, while the toilet was in a separate room by the entryway. Thoughtful extras like a Dyson hairdryer, Nespresso machine, and complimentary non-alcoholic minibar snacks made the space feel like a home away from home.

MICE facilities
Located on the third floor – a level designed around the concept of a “Lush Tunnel” with views framed by park greenery – Andaz One Bangkok features five meeting and event spaces.

The centrepiece is the main ballroom, which spans 380m² and can accommodate up to 300 guests. Equipped with advanced technology and filled with natural daylight, these function venues are suited for corporate meetings, creative sessions, or social gatherings.

Other facilities
The hotel’s culinary venues include Jǐng, serving authentic Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine in a contemporary setting; Andaz Terrace, an al fresco lounge featuring tea programmes, Hong Kong-inspired bakes, and park views; and Piscari, a 23^rd-floor Mediterranean rooftop concept with an open kitchen, hidden speakeasy, and resident DJ beats.

Jǐng also doubles up as the breakfast space. In addition to the spread of Thai, Chinese, and Western buffet dishes, I appreciated that hot dishes like the Eggs Benedict (served on a perfectly buttered muffin) came in thoughtful, moderate portion sizes so I did not feel overwhelmed, leaving room to try other breakfast items. Small details stood out too, like my hot Americano being served in a double-walled cup to keep it warm.

On the seventh floor, I had access to a well-equipped 24-hour fitness centre and an outdoor infinity saltwater pool overlooking Lumphini Park and the skyline. For those who prefer outdoor workouts, Lumphini Park is right across the street.

Service
The service was attentive, warm, and seamless throughout my stay. Staff members maintained a professional yet approachable presence, and made me feel well taken care of from start to finish.

Verdict
As a fan of Andaz Singapore, it was wonderful to see Andaz One Bangkok uphold the same elevated brand guidelines while creating its own sense of place. The lobby makes a striking first impression with Blockwilt by Ploenchan Vinyaratn – a vibrant, colourful, and textured art piece – complemented by staff uniforms that are classy, stylish, and impeccably suited to the property’s design-forward aesthetic.

I would definitely love to stay again. The location is also unbeatable, offering a distinct advantage by avoiding the notorious gridlock and heavy congestion typical of the central Siam shopping district.
